  • Streamlining Knowledge Management at Cisco

    An ongoing initiative to unify and standardize knowledge management across several isolated teams.

  • Debuting Customer Education at Duo Security

    I am the creator of Duo Level Up, a customer education platform designed to empower Duo Security administrators with the knowledge and skills needed to manage a successful Duo deployment and strengthen their security posture. Wearing many hats, I nurtured the program to a successful launch, creating 26 courses, three certification programs, and growing the user base to over 14,000 over the course of the first two years.

  • Technical Troubleshooting Guide for Duo Security

    While developing an e-learning course, I was surprised to discover that highly technical learners were submitting support tickets that could be resolved with basic networking. We had incorrectly assumed that this was common knowledge and needed a solution to empower learners of all skill levels to resolve issues without contacting support.

    Working closely with SMEs and leveraging existing documentation, I developed a series of sequential steps to better diagnose issues with this application that incorporated basic network troubleshooting.

  • Introduction to Gender Dysphoria

    A supplemental resource created for a Psychology class. The textbook explanations of gender identity and gender dysphoria were confusing to students, leading several to misinterpret that being transgender was a mental illness. As an instructional designer and trans person myself, I created this guide so that students new to these concepts could better relate to the gender diverse people in their community.

    I emulated the tone and style of the textbook to align with the other teaching materials provided in class.

  • Technical Support Job Aid for 365 Retail Markets

    One of many resources created as a Learning Experience Designer for a vending kiosk startup. The support team was in the very early stages of launching a knowledge base, so information was being stored on a shared drive and often physically printed.

    I designed this template using the company brand guidelines and reused it for other job aids until it could be converted to a knowledge base article.

  • Webinar: Introducing Duo Level Up

    A 30 minute webinar introducing a new administrator training platform. This was a public event to generate interest in the beta program, where a select group of customers were actively testing the new platform and providing feedback directly to our team.
